Great seats and fantastic viewing

News on the new “Fan-First” design elements for the stadium.
Last month we announced that spectators at the new Perth Stadium will enjoy the best seating conditions in Australia, with the seat spacing and row depth set to be similar to, if not bigger than, Etihad Stadium in Melbourne. We also revealed that sightlines will be equal to or better than those experienced at current benchmark Australian stadiums – the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and Etihad Stadium.
Both of these seating and sightline design elements were announced last month by the State Government, in keeping with the “Fan-First” approach to the new Perth Stadium design. This approach aims to provide the best possible experience for every level of spectator at the new Perth Stadium, from general admission to premium offerings.
Sport and Recreation Minister Terry Waldron said putting fans first at the new Perth Stadium meant ensuring there was a good view from all seats, that there were enough toilets and places for families to relax before and after the game, as well as access to quality food choices.
“There will be more seating options on offer, allowing the people of Western Australia as much flexibility as possible for their match day experience,” Mr Waldron said.
Not only will Western Australian fans have the best views – they will also have more comfortable seats at the new Perth Stadium with the seating dimensions comparable with traditional Qantas domestic business class seats.
